Ian Dubinski

Ian Dubinski is a Staff Fluvial Geomorphologist for Engineering & Hydrosystems, Inc since April, 2007. He attended Colorado State University for his MS and PhD degrees, focusing on fluvial geomorphology. Mr. Dubinski has experience in geologic and geomorphic mapping, surface water hydrology, watershed science, and sediment transport modeling. Mr. Dubinski studied sediment transport in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison as part of his MS thesis with the support of the NPS. For his doctorate program at CSU, Mr. Dubinski worked with Dr. E.E. Wohl to develop a physical model of jointed bedrock channel erosion where quarrying is the dominant process. Mr. Dubinski is currently involved in projects dealing with 2-D sediment transport modeling of a braided river system.
