Scott Ikard

Scott Ikard is a Staff Engineer at Engineering & Hydrosystems, Inc. He holds a B.S. degree in geology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, and an M.E. degree in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. His graduate work at the Colorado School of Mines heavily emphasized hydrogeology. Scott has prior experience in geophysical exploration, water resources supply, water quality sampling, well drilling and borehole logging, ground water and surface water hydrology, ground water modeling and numerical analysis, and geographic information systems. Scott is currently working towards a Ph.D. degree in geophysical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. His current research interests include applying methods and theories of geophysical exploration to develop conceptual, analytical and numerical models of unsaturated flow and ground water models, watershed instrumentation and real time data retrieval systems, real time aquifer characterization, inversion algorithms and the application of geographic information systems to solve engineering problems.
